Multi-colour and multi-component injection moulding makes it possible to produce plastic parts with different colours and/or materials through a single mould.
The process involves the overmoulding of thermoplastic resins on top of each other, forming a permanent bond through selective melting or by means of mechanical crimping.
Multi-component moulding favours the optimisation of the production process, eliminating any subsequent assembly steps and thus automating production.
